Mistakes.
Mistakes. We ALL have them. Many of us wish we didn’t have any and that we were immune from ever making them. Alas, we are all human and mistakes are a part of the job description. What I am learning is that, your mistakes make you who you are more than your accomplishments do. Why? Because (if you’re smart) we learn from our mistakes, we learn what to do and more importantly, what not to do. In comparison to our accomplishments, our mistakes offer us no pat on the back, or “job well done”. our mistakes push us to do better. I’ve come to see that those mistakes work together, with my accomplishments, to form the Tori that is today. And, the Tori that is today, is- in the words of a “him”- just fine.
